Slovakia with a Disability Card
Many published concessions refer to Slovak ŤZP or ŤZP-S cards. Ask whether your foreign document is accepted before buying.

A local card name is not automatic equivalence
A concession may exist even when acceptance of your document has not been confirmed. If a price list mentions only ŤZP or ŤZP-S, contact the operator and request the exact fare for your document and selected programme.
Museums, castles and zoos
The SNM Museum of History at Bratislava Castle lists free admission for people with severe disabilities and one companion. Orava Castle lists a 50% discount. Bojnice Castle uses local card terminology.
Bratislava Zoo lists free admission for a visitor with a disability and a companion, with a reduced tariff when travelling without a companion. Confirm the accepted document; do not assume every foreign card is equivalent.
Pools and performances
AquaCity Poprad publishes a weekday concession for ŤZP-S holders and describes a barrier-free aquapark with pool ramps and lifts. Tatralandia has a separate disability tariff. The Slovak National Theatre lists a 50% discount for disability-card holders. Acceptance of foreign documents needs confirmation for your booking.
Check the exact route
Stratenský Canyon is described by official tourism information as an approximately 1.1 km paved route with little ascent suitable for wheelchair users. Bystrianska Cave is an important wheelchair-accessible exception; other caves can involve steps, damp surfaces and demanding sections.
Accessibility can be partial at historic venues. The Museum of Croatian Culture has an accessible ground floor but an upstairs permanent exhibition that is not wheelchair accessible. Check cable-car operating status and closures immediately before travelling.
Local rights and parking
Do not assume domestic social or transport entitlements apply to a tourist. Check official EU parking-card guidance and local payment conditions separately.
